I totally don't have a hangover, though. Mostly thanks to Luke chatting to me all night and keeping me busy do I didn't crash out while still drunk. Also thanks to the magical healing powers of water, ordinary water.
Basically, what happened is that Nina and I decided a couple of nights ago that we should get drunk together (on webcam of course; Nina lives about a million miles away). I'm not quite sure why... what with me being Faggy McDrinkless, but hey, seemed like a good idea at the time! It was pretty fun, though.
I've once again woken up at exactly 0830 though, and this time I can't get back to sleep. What happens at 0830 every day? I've already established that it's not the trains, the drainpipe, or any kind of loud (or even quiet) music. So yeah, three hours' sleep, yay!
Here's an annotated translation and transcription of my last post, because I feel like it.
Okay, so Luke totally put me up to [writing this Livejournal post].
Although it's Nina's fault I'm drunk [I would like to slap my past self for blaming someone else at this point] because she made me raid the kitchen [cupboard] for more alcohol. [Mike and Steph seemed to have left a couple of nearly-empty bottles behind.]
But yeah, fuzzie can't see this or she'd be mad at me for being drunk, because she doesn't like drunk people. [turns out that fuzzie just read this over bertram's shoulder, so my "Totatllya not fuzize" friends filter is rendered useless!]
But yeah, I raided my [ex-]housemates' drinks after the 700ml [bottle] of WKD Blue [that] I bought yesterday [was finished]. There was Peach Schnapps and [Extra Dry] Martini but not much [was left in the bottoms of them], so I swizzled them [in my mouth -- Nina suggested this, I'm not sure why; they tasted HORRIBLE -- but at 15% and 23% respectively, they seemed to do the job,] and it made me drunk.
And it's a rare occasion, so Luke made me write a Livejournal post.
So yeah, here's my drunk Livejournal Post. Savour it, because it will be the last!
Now for the "song", as Rincey called it.
Hang on... start... there we go.
Well, Audacity fucked up as well, and CoolEdit didn't [something] -- This was actually the third recording I'd made by that point. CoolEdit swallowed the first one because apparently the trial period had ended so I couldn't save (or copy the waveform out of the program). Audacity worked greatly until I decided to do a noise removal on it, and I think I overdid it, because I just sounded tinny after that, and so I decided to junk it after discovering that Audacity didn't have a large enough undo buffer to reverse the change
and I can't un-redo the...
can't undo the... the thing...
The noise removal! I did it too much and it was all [my impression of a tinny voice]
So... I'm redoing it. -- re-recording it, I presume
Erm.
So, for the third time tonight, I stripped -- I only stripped once, I'm just telling you for the third time :P
It was fun.
And it's always more fun! -- more fun when drinking than when not drinking
But yeah, erm...
It's Nina's fault.. no, it's Luke's fault.. no. I forget whose fault it is.
No, it's... yes. What?
Totally Nina's. Nina's fault -- I do apologise, Nina
And Luke's fault for the livejournal [post].
Erm...
Yes, I stripped -- this seems to be the main topic of the recording. It wasn't so much a strip as a "oh, I guess I'll be naked now," and considering it was me, I think I got away with it. Hopefully nobody had their finger on the print-screen key
Yes. Did I say that [already]?
I think I did.
What else happened?
Lots of stuff happened... -- may be a lie
Nina has great pyjamas! -- I stand by this assessment. They're ultra-cute
And I don't really know about Luke's pyjamas, but they're probably great too. -- I bet it will turn out he actually sleeps NAKED or somesuch horror
Erm... who was it that had the dog? -- I think Nina's dog decided to make a guest appearance on her webcam.
I think Luke has a dog. -- He sure does. Glad to see my memory's holding out here.
But I think... no, I didn't see Nina's dog.
Did I see Nina's dog? -- GREAT MYSTERIES OF THE UNIVERSE
No.
I don't think so.
Erm.
But yes, erm, it's all Nina's fault, and... [I knock a glass over] Oops.
Erm... [unknown word(s)]
CoolEdit wouldn't let me save because it was out of its trial period. -- I was clearly quite hung up over this
Erm, and then... Audacity ... did I say this [already]? I don't know. Oh well.
Erm... yeah, as you were [someone signs into MSN]
[something about being less drunk?]
Ooh, apparently I have 28 hours and 50 minutes left of recording. -- Audacity's status bar gave an indication of how much disk space I have left, converted into time.
But I mean, I won't talk to you for that long. Erm..
Yeah. Did I say what I had [to drink]? Yeah, I wrote it in my Livejournal.
[uknown]
Oh yeah, I blame Baz for stuff as well. But I don't think he's actually to blame this time. Which is weird! Because you'd think he was.-- We live in a SOCIETY OF BLAME
Because he's usually naked... no! Because he's usually ... [laugh]
Erm, yes, because Baz is usually responsible... no... guilty! Guil... no, innocent until proven guilt... no. Guilty until proven gui... no. Oh, fuck it. [turns off the recording] -- That damned English language! How dare I not be able to form a sentense of it!
And there you have it. I'm not going to make any efforts to explain why I drew a comic about a square-headed man, because it's just not possible!
Anyway, while I'm posting to Livejournal, I shall also mention what I got up to yesterday. Went over to Kitty's allotment, and discovered that gardening is indeed as hard as it looks! Ground was levelled, onions were planted, lettuces were had.
This morning, a letter came through the post for me, from a certain
It has a great little stick-man devil-Nina with a tail and horns and a skirt drawn in it! Plus I now have two more cups of hot chocolate to drink! (Caribbean coconut, and Wicked white choc) Reviews will come later, perhaps!
Right now, my stomach feels like it wants to be the other way around. Outside on the inside, and vice versa, kind of around. Or I might just be hungry. Which is somewhat of a dilemma.

Also, I am not taking the blame for suggesting that you 'swizzled' (or whatever it was you said) the drinks, as I told you it would make you feel worse. I did wonder at the time why the hell you were doing it!
Enjoy the hot choc.

I will enjoy it, thanks :D
